Litigation Continues in 1105 Media Inc. vs. RechargeAsia And TonerTeck

August 6, 2008
The initial phases of discovery in the ongoing lawsuit by 1105 Media Inc. against RechargeAsia and TonerTeck are underway as attorneys for 1105 Media, the parent company of Recharger Magazine, have received responses to the first round of interrogatories. Sunny Sun signed and verified the responses on behalf of defendant RechargeAsia, and Xizhi “Henry” Sun signed and verified on behalf of defendant TonerTeck. All were received on August 4, 2008.

The next step in the discovery process will be the depositions of defendants RechargeAsia and TonerTeck. These are being scheduled for September or October.  “Litigation can be a lengthy process,” said Recharger Group Publisher Adam Schaffer. “These initial steps are a very important part of that process.”

1105 Media filed suit against the defendants in April of this year alleging multiple causes of action including breach of contract, fraud by concealment, violation of the California Business and Professions Code, and violation of the California Trade Secrets Act.
