Océ introduced the Océ
cm2522 and Océ cm3522 print, copy and scan color systems. Available
from the Document Printing Systems division, a range of functions and
features on these versatile MFPs provide a solid foundation for
businesses looking to build a total document workflow solution. The Océ
cm2522 and Océ cm3522 allow businesses to communicate in vibrant full
color and cost effective black & white and deliver advanced
technology and functionality with simple, easy to use device
interfaces. The combination of advanced color printing, scanning and

cm2522 and Océ cm3522 total workflow solutions.

Ease-of-use
A large, easy to read, 8.5 inch full-color LCD
control panel facilitates faster and more accurate communication and
makes the Océ cm2522 and Océ cm3522 simple to operate. The well lit
operator panel tilts in all directions and often used functions can be
set up as shortcut keys on the basic copy screen and on the fax/scan
screen. To simplify information sharing, virtually any USB memory
device can be connected directly to the Océ cm2522 and Océ cm3522 to
ease direct printing of PDF, TIFF and JPEG files as well as selected as
a scan destination. Device setup, control and monitoring can all be
done easily and remotely from any computer on the network.
Productivity
Increasing output, improving image and reducing
operating costs are now simple tasks with the Océ cm2522 and Océ
cm3522. With output speeds of 25ppm or 35ppm, productivity is only a
few clicks away whether printing or copying in full color or black
& white. Standard trayless auto-duplexing performs at 100% engine
output speed and auto-paper sensing and auto-tray switching work
together for a more productive document environment. Scanning speeds up
to 70 ipm get documents digitized and on the network quickly and
simply. Generous paper supplies and powerful finishing options such as
multi-position stapling, booklet saddle stitching, half fold and 2 and
3 hole punching contribute to an efficient document workflow.
Versatility
The Océ cm2522 and Océ cm3522 provide the
flexibility to accommodate all job types in one device. These devices
become the central communications hub of any office with high quality
color and robust black & white productivity and a multitude of
scanning destinations including email, desktop, FTP, folder (SMB),
internal HDD and USB memory device. For the highest level of
efficiency, the optional single or dual line Super G3 fax kit can be
added for PC faxing and inbound fax routing to email. The powerful EFI®
Fiery® print controller is available on both the Océ cm2522 and Océ
cm3522 for the precise and uncompromising color that discerning
professionals require.
Security
Because protection of data is of the utmost
importance in today’s business world, the Océ cm2522 and Océ cm3522
come equipped with a host of features to protect valuable information
such as network, SMTP and LDAP authentication, HDD data erase, IP
address filtering and SSL encryption. The optional biometric
authentication unit recognizes unique physical characteristics of each
user, to restrict device access to only authorized individuals.
Network connectivity
Users will have the capability to move
information more rapidly throughout the entire organization by
seamlessly integrating with existing network infrastructure. The Océ
cm2522 and Océ cm3522 come standard with a 1GHz MHz print/scan
controller, 60GB HDD and 1 GB RAM. Integrated and easy-to-use software
utilities allow both users and administrators access to powerful tools
for document, device and network management. Complete with Windows
Vista® support, standard PCL®6, PostScript 3® emulations, XPS and IPv6
protocol support, the Océ cm2522 and Océ cm3522 are ready for the next
