Océ Selects PrintFleet Software

January 9, 2008

Océ Business Services, Inc., a leader in document process management and electronic discovery, announced that it has selected PrintFleet’s Optimizer software to provide remote device monitoring as part of Océ Universal Fleet Management service. Océ selected the PrintFleet application to provide clients with benefits that include keeping fleet equipment continuously functioning at peak performance; and the ability to respond to fleet management issues before they become problems.

“Adding PrintFleet’s Optimizer remote device management software makes Océ Universal Fleet Management service an even more comprehensive offering for our clients,” stated Joseph R. Marciano, President and CEO of Océ Business Services. "We can better control the proliferation of print devices and reduce the total cost of office document reproduction. We also can increase efficiency with the ability to collect meter reads across all OEM device makers and models. These and other features of Océ Universal Fleet Management enable us to help organizations relieve the pressures associated with trying to manage a diverse fleet internally.”

Océ Universal Fleet Management includes three progressively advanced levels of service: Universal Fleet Essentials, Universal Fleet Professional, and Universal Fleet Managed. Together these services cover an organization’s complete, long-term document production environment including managing desktop and networked multi-function devices; deploying onsite tech and key-op support; monitoring device and service performance; collecting meter reads; providing call center support; implementing user migration and training; furnishing data collection for tred, cost, and performance analysis, and more.

“By incorporating our Optimizer software, Océ Universal Fleet Management provides the fleet control and flexibility that many organizations have been missing,” said Norman McConkey, President and CEO of PrintFleet. “Companies can now gain better control over costs, equipment, services, processes and print strategy.”
