Océ Adds Color MFP

Océ introduced the Corporate Printing Division’s cm2510 MFP. The cm2510 meets customer needs for a small to mid-volume MFP that cost effectively delivers quality B&W and color output. The cm2510 is a fully-featured MFP with productive monochrome and color output, both delivered at 25 ppm. The cm2510 can handle normal B&W printing needs with the added flexibility and versatility of color printing without compromising efficiency. Extra productivity boosting features include easy setup, 80 second warm up time, flexible paper handling and remote MFP access straight from the desktop. In addition, the cm2510 offers multiple levels of security ranging from IP/MAC address filtering, port management, HDD erase and user authentication to Secure Socket Layer (SSL) support. With its LCD user interface, which recognizes frequently used features and functions and assigns them to "short-cut" keys eliminating the need to navigate through menu options, the cm2510 is an easy to use monochrome MFP replacement or addition in offices looking to combine printing processes into one device.

Productive and Reliable
The cm2510 is productive and brings reliable performance to any workgroup. With an easy-to-use customizable LCD operator panel, settings can be adjusted to scan and fax to numerous destinations such as E-mail, Desktop, FTP, Folder (SMB) and internal HDD improving the speed of business communications. With input options that provide high total paper capacity and a short paper path, the cm2510 reduces operator interventions caused by paper refills or jam corrections.

Compact and Versatile
The cm2510 provides powerful features in a small package. With the versatility of color output and several different finishing options that provide high output capacity, offset stacking, 50 sheet multi-position stapling or saddle stitch finishing and configuration for two or three hole-punching, the cm2510 handles normal office printing and copying requirements and can wield superior color documents. A work shelf provides 4 USB ports for direct printing or scanning of electronic documents from and to a USB memory device. Using the multi-tasking controller which provides dual job queues, the cm2510 is able to handle continuous output of print, copy and fax job streams for maximum efficiency

Security
The cm2510 has many solutions to secure critical data. Multiple means by which to secure the device, data or document include IP/MAC address filtering, port management, HDD erase and secure printing. Using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) support, data can be encrypted as it travels across the network, preventing unauthorized interception or deciphering. Integrated LDAP support and user authentication reinforces security for e-mail distribution to insure only authorized users can send e-mails. An optional data security kit employs 128-bit encryption for stored information so that data that has been scanned, copied, faxed is automatically encrypted. Numerous other options are available and administrators can restrict or permit access by individuals to functions of the device.
